The BBC collaboration is Grande’s first since the Manchester bombing.
On a more positive note, the BBC has announced that they will be collaborating with Grande for a one-hour special in which the singer will be backed by an all-female orchestra. The event is set to be taped on September 7th with the release date tbd. Hopefully it will work out better than Grande’s last infamous collaboration with the BBC, which was bombed.
David McCall, who will be hosting the special (and interviewing Grande for it) said, “Ariana Grande is such an incredible talent. She’s very funny and incredibly kind and has achieved so much already in her career! I’m really excited about talking to her and, of course, hearing some of her amazing music.”
As for what she will be performing at the show, fans can likely expect some songs off her recent record-breaking number-one debut, Sweetener.
