I’ll give N12M to any obidient who can name one school that Peter Obi started, completed and commissioned – Reno Omokri (Video)

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has stirred reactions online as he kickstarted a N12M challenge for supporters of Labour Party presidential aspirant Peter Obi.

Reno Omkori was a guest on the audiovisual podcast tagged “Mic on for the independent mind” hosted by Journalist Seun Okinbaloye.

According to Seun, most of Obidients always believe Peter Obi is one of the best presidents Nigeria never had stressing that they believe he is the best presidential candidate at the 2023 presidential election.

Reacting to this statement, Reno Omokri said it was ridiculous for people to say Peter Obi is one of the best presidents Nigeria never had adding that Peter Obi is someone he really knows.

Reno Omokri stressed that the best way to judge somebody’s future is by somebody adding that Peter Obi 8 years as a governor in Anambra State was not incredible.

The former presidential aide further added that when Peter Obi was asked about his singular stellar performance in Anambra, he could only mention the brewery he created in the state. Reno said that the brewery is a loss-making brewery.

In the podcast, Reno utters that he is starting a challenge for Nigerians most especially the obedient. He noted that he will give $10,000 (N12M) to any obidient who can name one school that Peter Obi started, completed, and commissioned while he was Governor of the Anambra State.Watch the video and see reactions below;

adekunle_juchees: Seun Kuti asked the same question asking Obidients to name a single school that Obi initiated, completed, and officially opened….Obidients make una name one .

tufab: There was education and well enriched schooled during his time as Governor, so what’s the point of wasting funds? P.O doesn’t like to waste money .

pinzpascal: See this guy . Peter Obi commissioned so many schools in my village. Am from Anambra Igbo ukwu and my mother is from Isuofia . Reno you are pure joke.

mclari_consultancy: It’s funny how we don’t respond to issues directly. Name a school, some of y’all saying he should go and shave his beards!!! That’s how we always get entangled in a mess because we constantly create them. I’ve seen constructive criticism, I’ve seen factual arguments, but not from us Nigerians. Why?? I’m not saying anyone is the better but let us be constructive, that way we can collectively demand for our rights as citizens. None of these agbada wearing celebrated thieves have our interest at heart. We must learn to watch out for ourselves!!!

korede_lagos: Reno is doing a serious hatchet job to whittle down the influence of Peter Obi before 2027. He’s begun his campaign of calumny in earnest. Nigerians who supported PO did so out of conviction, particularly based on his ability to address the electorate during the last cycle of elections. His supporters also know of his accountable reign as Governor of Anambra. Reno who spoke highly of Obi is now saying a direct opposite of his statements! Yet, he expects us to listen to him… money really changes people!

kwobe_emy: Why start a new school when 99% of the old ones lack maintenance? Was the government able to maintain the existing schools ? What Peter did was to go into partnership with the churches to help manage these existing schools and when that was done the results started coming from the performance of anambra in waec and neco. Reno wants to play the the non-intelligent ones. Why waste resources building a new school ? The breweries he is talking about, does the state generate money from it ? Does it provide employment? And the people of the state do they see alcohol consumption as a lust? That’s capital NO, beer and alcohol is part of our culture as a people and building and industry of such is economically important to us, maybe not in the north but it’s different in the east. We do almost everything with beer, wedding, burials , naming ceremonies and so much more. I don’t like answering Reno but I will be glad to know who build the nursing school in ogodi,

kc_ebu: Achieved Results; Anambra State Ranked high in NECO & WAEC Examinations Nationally. The State Schools moved from 26th to 3rd, and eventually 1st in both categories by 2013. The Anambra Education System went from ‘weak’ in 1999 to ‘very strong’ in 2014. Why did He succeed; He made Appointments focused on ‘Core Educationists’ to run the Education Ministry, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB), and the Primary & Post-Secondary Schools Commission (PPSSC).
